The 3U 16 bay GbE iSCSI RAID storage features embedded high reliability Intel Xscale IOP 341, 800 MHz, 64-bit hardware RAID processor and DDR2-533 memory upgradable up to 2 GB. With high efficiency server-grade 400W redundant hot-swappable power supply, the iSCSI RAID storage enables workloads and applications to run 24/7 without hardware failure, ensuring NR330A-IP4 the enterprise-class storage for SAN networks. Up to 16 high-capacity SATA II/III HDDs are supported while the four GbE iSCSI data ports provide fast data throughput, ideal for digital video applications, data storage, recovery/backup, and surveillance…etc.
Easy LCD Setting and Remote Management and Monitoring
Netstor NR330A-IP4 provides three ways to configure and manage the iSCSI enclosure. The three approaches include the LCD with its control panel, the web GUI, and through console port of iSCSI enclosure for management and configuration. Both the configuration of IP addresses of iSCSI data ports and RAID settings can be achieved by one of the above three ways. In addition, other important functions such as system setting, mail/notification setting, hardware monitor, drives’ S.M.A.R.T. info, system info, and event log can all be accessed through the web GUI remotely on any host from the network.
Perfect, Complete Hardware Monitor Audibly, Visually, and Remotely
When redundant power supply fails, fan failure or over-temperature occurs within Netstor NR330A-IP4, users or administrators will be informed of the incident both audibly and visually as well as remotely by the front status LED, the inside buzzer alarm, and e-mail notification. While one of the fans fails, it is easy to know which one breaks down as shown from the web GUI, so the issue can be solved in a short time to remain best ventilation. When administrator is notified of the failure of redundant power supply, all he/she needs to do is to hot-swap the failure power supply without system down time.
